With our first week behind us, I wanted to take a moment to share with you all some news, updates, and developments here at The Side View:

* I’m happy to report that our first week was a great success. We hit over 4,000 page views in the first seven days after launching the site (4,081 hits as of this post!).

 

 

 

 

* We’re continuing to roll out new ways to follow our work. You can now subscribe to our podcasts on iTunes, YouTube, and SoundCloud.

* Last Thursday evening, as part of The Side View launch, I gave a presentation on the philosophy and ideas that inform the general vision behind The Side View. You can watch the recording here.

* As we continue to promote and feature each of our first-round essays and podcasts, be on the lookout for three new essays and three new podcasts hitting the site over the next two weeks. We have some great guests and writers working on new material, so stay tuned for those updates.

* I also want to draw your attention to our Patreon page, which we’re using to help offset the costs of running the site and producing our content. Please consider donating to our efforts if it’s within your means.

* Finally, for those of you who have an idea for an essay, a recommendation for a podcast guest, or just want to reach out and talk about The Side View in general, please get in touch with us via our contact page.

I’ll close with a big thank you to all of you for giving us a strong start on this new venture. We have a lot more work to do, but I’m looking forward to sharing the journey with all of you.
